Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! The mattress is dry this morning when Gaby wakes up! Although I did try to wake him up at 4am to ask him to go pee pee. But he refused. So I tot, ok, never mind, this is only the first nite. It's ok if he wets the bed. So everyone praised him rotten this morning for using the potty when he did his number 2 n also staying dry thru' out the nite!
All of a sudden, I feel as if he has grown up a lot within a nite!

Hey Congrats for the success in getting Gaby on the potty! My SMALL FAN did a few times in the potty but he felt that it's so restrictive, can't move around, so he revert back to diapers...sigh... so nowadays he alway poo poo at night, when I put on the diaper for him..:( Put SMALL FAN diaperless before for one night, as both me and BIG FAN forgot to wear for him and the mattress was dry the next day, but we very hesitant to remove it at night as he drinks a lot of water at night, we might need to wake him up a few times if he go diaperless.
One of my g'friends told me that when she trained her son to go diaperless at nite, she had to wake him up to go pee pee. Said that I have to start somewhere.
So Mr Lee oso said that we have to start somewhere. I was quite hesitant at first. Like Small Fan, Gaby oso drinks plenty of water before bedtime. But I think he is able to control and hold his bladder for up to 9 hours!
Maybe you a right, have to start somewhere. BIG FAN now trying very hard to get him to go poo poo in the toilet but SMALL FAN just can't sit still. Maybe will let him go diaperless when he reach 3 years old in Oct. For now, still trying very hard on the poo poo training.
I think we made the right thing to start the poo poo by telling him that there isn't any diaper for him to poo in. So he really bo pian, must poo in the potty.
Also, we bought a new potty meant for Alex. So I guess Gaby kind of a bit bit jealous that the potty is for didi so he oso want to use it!
