uncle q, you are the best!

fashion sense at 3
it's difficult getting alexius to shower. i have to literally drag him into the bathroom. sometimes he will be screaming and crying throughout the whole time i give him a shower. sometimes i have to negoitate with him about shampooing his hair. sometimes, i have to bribe him into getting a shower.
now the task of showering him has gotten more difficult. he will choose what he wants to wear. not just his t-shirt... but his shorts as well. he doesnt like singlets these days... only wants toy story t-shirts, fireman sam t-shirts, garfield t-shirt and this particular blue espirit shirt that he thinks is a policeman uniform. and for bottoms, he only likes the bugs bunny or fire engine. it may seem like a wide selection of choices... but no, i tell you. it depends on his mood. if he is in the mood for garfield, he has to wear it. so when the shirt is still in the laundry, he'll kick a big fuss.
and a similar situation happened today. he was in a mood for his "policeman uniform" and bugs bunny shorts. but both were still in the dryer... half dry nia nia. piangz! he cried for so long... kept insisting that he wants to put these on. finally convinced him to wear another set of clothes and he started to insist on wearing his garfield t-shirt and the garfield t-shirt was in the dryer too. in the end, i just put on a blue gap t-shirt and let him sit there crying for a while before he calmed down to have his lunch.
the moment he woke up from his nap, he went to ask nika for his "policeman uniform" and bugs bunny shorts... he is wearing them now.
i just dun understand how can a 3 year old boy be so fussy about what to wear??
