Everyone likes Flinstone's car!

Flinstone's car

Both Gaby and Alexius likes to ride in this car... and I call it the Flinstone's car

What talk you, Alexius?

Alexius has started babbling away for some time already. Actually, I can't really remember when he started it... Previously, he used to say 'ma ma'... but now he hardly say this. And I suspected that it's because I am the one in the family that has been feeding him medicine when he was sick... hmmm... His other words are 哥哥, kak kak (sister... for Reda) and perhaps... "bye"...

Last friday I taught him 吃 when we were in the lift after his kindermusik class. When I say 吃, he kind of repeated after me. But only one time and then he doesn't want to say it anymore.

I have also been teaching some simple signs like "milk", "eat", "please" and "thank you". But he doesn't seem to 'register' at all leh.

Hong Kong, Hong Kong...

So in the end Mr Lee went to Hong Kong for a week without us. And he has an enjoyable stay there cos he gets to go to the casino in Macau with Daniel.

Both Mr Lee and myself has always like HK... Anyway, Mr Lee did come home with some goodies for both Gaby and myself. And the most important is, he even bring home some of the mango balls that I have been looking forward to!

Mr Lee also remembered to snap some pix of the 'ding ding' that Gaby has been looking forward to ride in it...

Oh, this is not the 'ding ding' ok! This is a famous tv actor from HK... someone that I quite like to watch on HK serial dramas... but I am bad at remembering names...

I am just curious

Last nite when I went to pick Mr Lee up after he finished work, I saw these near the lift lobby of our block. The puzzeling thing about it is that the socks looked like someone has just taken them of and dumped it together with the shirt. And there is only one shoe about 10 steps away. Mr Lee thought that maybe someone has been fighting and left a shoe there. But then, who would bother to take off the socks to fight leh??? Hmm... Shall investigate... maybe will ask Tuti if I get to see her later this evening at the playground.

Year-End...

So fast! Another few more weeks to end of the year and then new year...
I have been in one of those foul mood swings recently again. Every little things just pissed me off easily. I am wondering today if it's because the year is coming to an end or because it'll be a brand new year soon?

Healthy Lunch

Yes, this is my ang moh boss' daily 爱心lunch...

Yes! Yes! Yes! My wish has come true!!

I was soooooo happy this afternoon when I found out that Cold Storage Bugis is selling Bassette's Jelly Babies!

Paper Helicopter

I wonder where he gets the idea of using old newspaper to 'do' a helicopter... for no reason, on one fine afternoon, Gaby suddenly started to get really cranky andwanted me to use some newspaper to 'do' a helicopter for me. I told him that I don't really know how to do it so let's wait for dad dad to be home to do it. But he insist that I knew how to 'do' it. So I coaxed him to shower while i 'do' it...

I am really pleased that i can be so innovative! And my darling really loooove it!!!

Thank you god!

Making merry while sick...

Being sick hasn't take away the cheekiness in Gaby...

And he is improving...

I find that Gaby is 'improving' in his photo taking skills...

and mum's fingers n rings...

the subject is not the man... it's the railing...

Giving medicine...

Do you know that I have to keep a schedule on who to give what medicine, dosage and at what time? This include the 2 dogs as well!

And on top of this, I have to set alarm on my mobile phone to remind me which doctor/vet that i have to ring to make appointments. And these are the outstanding appointments that I have to remember and to make...

1) Alexius to visit the doctor if the fever don't go away by Monday.
2) Poofie and Junior's yearly jab
3) Junior's allergy treatment review
4) Alexius and Gaby's jabs at the end of the year
5) My dentist appointment

Did I miss out anything??

Next time la

I have finally come to a decision this morning that I shall abort the HK trip. After going thru the drill of waking up every 3 hourly to check on Alexius on his fever. I think it'll be too taxing to leave him to my parents or Reda to do the job. And what kind of mother I would be? Leaving my sick child behind while I go and enjoy my trip leh? And also, Gaby also came down with the fever as well last nite. Although the fever came down after giving him the medicine, it came up again this morning when he woke up being very cranky!

So I guess I have made a decision that will put my mind at ease and I do feel a sense of relief when I made up my mind.

Next time la, when all are fit then go HK...

I miss the mango balls already!

To go or not to go??

I will be leaving for Hong Kong this wednesday with Gaby and coming home on sunday. Both of us have been looking forward to it. Gaby is so excited about it now. BUT... here's the tricky part... Alexius is suddenly down with fever on Saturday nite. Last nite his tempreture went up to 40.1 degrees. I m now so worried. Will be going to the doctors' when the clinic is opened.

So, to go or not to go HK?

Recently, Gaby has started to show some interest in using my camera or mobile to take pictures. Previously it was just me snapping away with him posing. But lately, he will want to use my camera to take pictures of stuff around him or me or Alexius.

Here are some of his work...

i don't understandwhy he wants a pic of this either??

Found it!

Dad has been telling me that he saw a photo of Gaby with Xiao Ah Yi and Uncle Martin at Inez's during the recent Shanghai trip. And he has been telling me that I have to look for the photo and get it printed cos he finds Gaby's smile really lovely in the photo. Haizzz... then it got into me that I have to look for this photo else I can't "rest my mind". After one day of searching it thru' the home lappy and this morning on my office lappy, I finally found it! Indeed, Gaby has a very nice smile in this photo!
