Fireman with his hunter friend

Gaby has been looking forward to yesterday's gathering so that he can play with Isaac. I think the last time they met up was many months ago. So yesterday they needed some time to warm up again before they played together. Gaby, as usual, is the fireman. And Isaac likes to shoot at the tigers and lions so I guess he likes to be a hunter.

Forgot to take a photo of Valerie mei mei... Gaby says that he like Valerie mei mei... He was playing with Val before Isaac is 'warm-up' enough to play with him.

Practice, practice, practice

This pic was taken during the time that Alexius was down with viral fever. I thought I should start letting him practice holding his bottle. He did not resist the practice. Guess he was too sick that day. Ya, he was running a 40 degree fever mah. Anyway, straight after he finished this bottle of milk, he threw out everything.

Why u keep waking up? Hungry ar?

The past few days Alexius has been waking up twice in the middle of the night! His last feed has always been around 11+pm. That's when I have done my last milk pump and will give him the milk that I expressed. Fresh milk. Then normally, he'll sleep thru' till around 5 or 6 am for another feed. But the past few days, he has been waking up around 2am crying his lungs out. Initially we did not suspect that he's hungry. But no matter how hard we try, there is not way to get him back to sleep. Rock him in our arms la, rub oil on his tummy la, use the ang huay leaves water to clean him la, sing to him la... all no use! So last resort is to give him the bottle. And he went back to sleep straight after the feed. Then at around 5am, he wakes up again and cries for another feed! There goes my 'beauty sleep'!

I am suspecting that maybe I should start introducing him to 'dinner'. Perhaps the last milk feed (about 180-200ml of mum's milk + formula) is not enough for him to last thru' the nite. But at wat time should I let him eat his dinner? He normally goes to bed at 8pm? Urgh! Got to 're-do' his schedule... Let me think...

Why so lazy?

Yes, yes... have been feeling really naff recently. I think I haven't 'fully recover' from taking care of my sick kids! Not that I haven't anything to write about here... there are too much happenings these few days!

Firstly, our dear angels died... I mean our dear angel fishes RIP for no reasons... they just turned over their white tummy one fine day after a good meal!

Also, one of my dear bosses fell and broke his right arm. Poor man! He is in a sling now... I mean his arm.

Then I have to send the dogs for their dental treatment... which happens to be today. should have asked the vet to give Mr Poofie more drugs to knock him off cos he was so super barky at the clinic and in the car. I nearly turned deaf on the way home! And poor Junior Boy was like so zombie...

I had WH and DZ sleep over last week. Gaby loves having his cousins around. Now he misses them so much and has been asking me when can they come and sleep over again.

Aiya, there are some more bits and pieces that happened but I just couldn't remember. Think I am getting old le.

Oh, I have to get Mr Lee to plan his birthday. End of this month. I think he has to go for reservist too. Hope it wouldn't clash with the dates. Wonder if he wants to do a 3-in-1. His 39th, Alexius 1st and our 12th wedding anni... Hmm...

Everyone likes Flinstone's car!

Flinstone's car

Both Gaby and Alexius likes to ride in this car... and I call it the Flinstone's car

What talk you, Alexius?

Alexius has started babbling away for some time already. Actually, I can't really remember when he started it... Previously, he used to say 'ma ma'... but now he hardly say this. And I suspected that it's because I am the one in the family that has been feeding him medicine when he was sick... hmmm... His other words are 哥哥, kak kak (sister... for Reda) and perhaps... "bye"...

Last friday I taught him 吃 when we were in the lift after his kindermusik class. When I say 吃, he kind of repeated after me. But only one time and then he doesn't want to say it anymore.

I have also been teaching some simple signs like "milk", "eat", "please" and "thank you". But he doesn't seem to 'register' at all leh.
