Am trying to get him to sign "mummy" which he always ended up doing it as a "thank you" sign. Also, trying to teach him the "go home", "drink", "poo poo", "dad dad" and "sleep" sign.

oh... i used to borrow the "american sign language dictionary" from the library... and i have a vcd.. i think it's something like 'my baby can sign'. let me go look for it. if i can find it n it's still in gd condition, i can make a copy for you!
actually u can start as soon as infant days. i went to a course before and the trainer told us that if the parents are handicapped, they communicate with their bb with signings as soon as they bb is borned. but for hearing bbs, u can start around 8 or 10 months old.
