Mr Terrapin likes to 'walk' around the balcony during the day. And on some days, he'll just chill out a bit.

When I reached home the other day, I saw him (actually I am not sure if it's a he or she...) being very still on the ground with his hind legs stretched out... very motionless as if he is dead. But when I take a closer look, his eyes flattered a little bit... aiya, so not dead la! So I went to get my camera and back and he is still at the same position. I wonder if he is having muscle cramps??? Mum said that he is probably enjoying a nice suntan.

Junior did his allergy test on 16th of Jul... 2 weeks ago. Now he has this ugly patch on his body. This lady from Junior's training class asked me the other day if i have purposely shaved him this way... i think she must have an impression of me being weird...

Happy Birthday to Fireman

Gaby turned 3 on Friday. We had a tiny celebration in class for him with is classmates. I took leave on Friday so that i can be there to take some pics for him. Then we have another cake cutting at my in-laws'.

Big Boy

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! The mattress is dry this morning when Gaby wakes up! Although I did try to wake him up at 4am to ask him to go pee pee. But he refused. So I tot, ok, never mind, this is only the first nite. It's ok if he wets the bed. So everyone praised him rotten this morning for using the potty when he did his number 2 n also staying dry thru' out the nite!

All of a sudden, I feel as if he has grown up a lot within a nite!

Finally! Gaby has finally poo poo in the potty today. How did we managed to get him to do it? Well, he finished the last piece of diaper last nite. And this morning, we showed him the emptied plastic bag and told him that we haven't bought any more diapers for him. So if he has to poo, he has to sit on the potty. So bo pian, this afternoon, he pooed one little poo poo in the potty. But I wasn't home to witness this moment.

Just before bedtime, he told me that he need to go poo poo. So again no choice, he has to sit on the potty again. And this time round, it was a bigger poo poo. And he was so pleased with it that he showed Mr Lee and told Mr Lee that he wants a present for going to the potty.

Tonite is our first nite for Gaby going diaperless. But we have made preventive and backup measures. I laid 2 thick towels under his bedsheets. And also, I have another mattress on standby if he wet the current one. I have also set my alarm clock at 3am to wake him up to go pee pee.

Someone rang me yesterday and 'interviewed' me over the phone. We spoke about the past. Initially I didn't really want to talk about it cos it hurts when i think about it. But I changed my mind about it. Talking about it may be a way to heal. And sharing the experience may help bring awareness that things like these do happen.

Still in love... and in other love...

Was chatting with Gaby just now before he falls asleep... we spoke about what happened this morning. So I told him that he has to wake up early tomorrow morning so that he'll be in school early to hold ZQ's hand. Then I asked him if he still loves her. And he said "yes". But there is another girl in class that he loves too! Megan.

According to Gaby, Megan has a 'sar sar' voice becos she likes to cry. But I dun know this girl so I asked him how does Megan looks like? Is she skinny? And before I ask the next question, he replied "Megan is skinny, not fat like you. She is skinny becos she doesn't like to eat." Oh my god! I'm fat! How I wish I can tell him that Megan may also be fat in 30 years!

Gaby's Girlfriend

Gaby has a girlfriend in school... he often tells me that he loves Zhou Qi. There are many times whereby Boon saw the 2 of them holding hands during school dismissal time. And recently, Gaby has been given stickers as rewards for participating in the dance practice. And most of his star stickers were given to ZQ. I've seen this girl before and find her really pretty... Good Taste Gaby!

Anyway, we had a bit of 'rejection' this morning... we were late when we reached school. By the time we went upstairs to the assembly hall, we saw Gaby's classmates coming out of the hall... the moment Gaby saw ZQ, he ran towards her wanting to hold her hand. But ZQ was already holding another girls hand. So Gaby was kind of very persistent...pulling ZQ's other free hand. But for some reasons, ZQ doesn't want to hold Gaby's hand so she pushed Gaby's hand away. This upset Gaby a lot and he ran back to me crying and wanting to go home... So no choice, I carried him to the classroom and pacified him, telling him that it is ok and that he can play with ZQ later. I have to go to work so left him with the helper aunty. I can hear him crying for me when I leave the classroom. My heart was totally broken... I guess so is Gaby's...

I wonder if he'll still tell me that he loves ZQ tonite...

I think the thought of himself being a fireman has eaten into Gaby's everyday life... Now everything is about the fireman. He is not Gabriel or 哥哥 anymore. He is FIREMAN. Even the teachers and aunty helpers in school know about it. This morning, the aunty helper in school told Mr Lee that Gaby has told her that he is not Gabriel, he's fireman. So dun call him Gaby, call him fireman! I wonder how long this is going to last??

Gabriel fell down... ouch!

Gaby fell down on Friday.... He came along to Junior's training class on Friday nite with TZ and dad dad. I think the fall was quite bad cos he couldn't stop crying after the fall... Kept saying that his palm was painful and the knees hurts! And also kept saying that he won't be able to sleep that nite cos the blood will stain his mattress!

But soon by Saturday morning, he has forgotten the pain on his 'very painful palm' and able to kneel on the floor in front of the sofa to play with his toys. But by bathtime, the pain came back again. So Reda has to tell him that fireman is a strong boy and this little pain is nothing...

One afternoon, when I was resting in my bedroom, I heard Alexius making lots of loud noise in the living room. I thought that he will probably stop after a while... but after about 15 minutes later, he is still making those loud noise. I guess he is just bored... this is the noise level...

I left my milk pump's funnel at home today. Only realise this when I reached office. Already frustrated that I didn't bring the pump cos feeling quite engorged. So I rang Mr Lee and asked if he can bring it to the office for me. And he gotten a bit agitated. Urgh!!!! he made it sound as if I did it on purpose! And now I am angry...
