Fire fire burnt so high!

Actually, it was fire! fire! burnt so low! Last Friday, there was a fire at the basement of our office building. When it broke, I was out at Subway getting a sandwich for Pat. On my way back to the office building, as I was walking nearer to the exit that leads out to the office building, I could smell some burning. When I came out of the underground, I saw thick smoke coming out from the carpark entrance. I was thinking of just walking away but later, I decided to take a video clip of the situation to show my little fireman at home.
I saw many people already standing around the front of the building. I guess the fire alarm must have been activated. The first thing that came to my mind was "How to get my breast milk pump out of the office??" Rang Pat and luckily she is still in the office. She thought that it was just a fire drill and was really surprised that I told her that there was a REAL fire at the basement. Managed to get her to bring down all my stuff so that I can go home and express my milk. Friday was also Alexius kindermusik day so I really can't wait for the building management to give the OK to re-enter the building. Since it was still quite early... just past noon time, so I decided to go to some nearby washroom to express my milk. Hehehe! I went to Fullerton Hotel to do it! The toilet is clean and less people. After expressing my milk, I thought perhaps I can go home in a taxi. But to my surprise, the road in front of the office building was blocked. I saw a couple of policemen and a police petrol car parked at the road entrance. Urgh! no choice lor... go home by MRT lor. But before I go into the MRT station, I took a clip of the fire engines to show my little fireman!


Have to show my little fireman these video clips cos when I called Mr Lee to tell him what has happened, Gaby was in the car with him and he could hear the conversation over the handsfree set. So I have to get myself prepared for questions when I reached home.

Back to work again?

Just went to check on Mr Freezy... looks like he's back to work again. But am not too sure how long he can ta-han.

Mr Freezy is on leave again

Our dear fridge is not working properly again! Haizz.. Mr Lee said he'll get the people to come take a look at it tomorrow. The only thing i worry is Junior's medicine. It has to be kept in the fridge all the time! And also, my milk!

Heart Broken

Oh dear me! My poor little Gaby is heart broken *pi-liang* He was fine on Monday when he reaches school. But when he came home, he kept asking me why Zhou Qi has stopped going to school? Really don't know how to answer that....

On Tuesday morning, he was already upset when we were getting ready for school. All weepy and grouchy. When we were in Mr Lee's car, he told me that he wanted to stay at home cos he doesn't want to go to school. So I asked him why he doesn't want to go to school?? And his reply was that ZQ is no longer in school what!

Yesterday afternoon, again talking about ZQ... he told me that he is very sad. But I told him that he still has other best friends in class... and he said that now he only has Megan...

This morning again telling me that he doesn't want to go to school becos ZQ is not in school anymore... Zhou Qi! Zhou Qi!

My little sugar lumps... time will heal your broken heart...

Happy 12th Anniversary to Me and Mr Lee

Last nite I asked Mr Lee if it's ok that I use his UOB sub card to buy a gift for myself for our 12th anni and he said ok, go ahead. I have been thinking of getting this crystal necklace since Aug. Thought it's very cute. So during lunchtime just now, I went to Swarovski and got it! Paid using Mr Lee's UOB card. And I smsed Mr Lee to thank him for the present.

And Mr Lee, if you are reading this... perhaps you can consider buying the expensive bag for me during Valentine's or me birthday! How? Good idea? Perhaps Ah Peh will keep his words and let you strike 4D soon!

Anyway, thank you for 12 wonderful years! Perhaps we can do a belated celebration sometime next week when u are less bz.

Washy wash wash

I think the school holidays made Gaby really restless. Yesterday when Alexius was taking his bath, Gaby tried to take the toy that I have given Alexius to play with in the tub. This made Alex a little upset and although Reda kept telling Gaby to stop, he just wouldn't listen. I was in the kitchen trying to get ready to feed Alexius lunch after his bathtime. I heard the commotion and went straight to the bathroom and ordered Gaby stop disturbing Alexius and Reda. And since he wants to play with the toy car in the tub, I took the opportunity to get him to do some washing. Yes, washing his toy cars. Gave him a little basin and some soapy water and get him to do it. He seems to enjoy doing it! Kept him occupied for a while while Reda and myself get some of the chores done before giving him lunch!

Back to school

Taken this morning...
This was in 2007 when he first joined the school... Gosh! I think he has really grown up a lot!
Finally it's Gaby's first day back to school! Am so glad that he seems quite happy to be back to school. He didn't even ask me to carry him when we reached school. I think some of his classmates from last year has decided to drop out and join another school. Did not see Gaby's best friend ZQ just now.
